Essential Oil Recipes
Bath Cookies
For those who love to bake, these cookies are fun, fragrant, and nonfattening; in fact they are good for your skin. They consist of skin-softening sea salt, vitamin E oil, and eggs. Simply drop one or two of these cookie tablets into a warm bath and relax.
2 cups finely ground sea saltPreheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the ingredients. Take a teaspoon of the dough and roll it gently into a ball ( about 1- inch in diameter ). Continue doing this with all the dough and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Or how about placing them into a small to medium size candy mold ( You can decorate the cookies with clove buds, anise seeds, or dried citrus peel if you wish. ) Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes, until they are lightly browned ( do not over bake ). Allow the cookies to cool completely. To use: Drop 1 to 2 cookies into a warm bath and allow to dissolve. Store in decorative tin marked BATH COOKIES. YIELD: 24 cookies. Enough for 12 baths.

Put a drop into each of your palms, rub them together briskly. Cup your palms in front of your face and inhale, through your nose if possible. Rub into soles of feet, paying close attention to the vitaflex points of the lungs, bronchials and sinuses. Apply this to the whole back, and also apply Oregano, Marjoram and Clove, then apply OrthoSport on top, cover back with a thick towel and then a sheet. The above also may help with lower back and hip pain, simple sore tight back, "bulging discs" etc. For bulging discs or strong acute back pain, apply hot compress after oils.
For colds, etc, you can also apply this to the chest and throat area in the front.
With the addition of Oregano, and either nutmeg or ginger, this is also a good blend for sore stiff knees, arthritis, etc. Apply directly to affected area.
